My Job

Look! This is very big croquette! She was made for our lunch. She said to me ' I wanted to make croquette like that CM' CM? I thought.

Do you know CM played by PUFFY. They were making so big croquette which was about 2 meter across.

We ate little by little. It was so delicious. She is a good cook.We took a picture in the heat of excitement.

I started to work at hotel about one month ago. I serve at Wedding reception. So,now I have two part-time jobs. To tell the truth, I want to quit hotel works as soon as possible. It was very hard. I'm always so tired on phisical and mental after I worked all day long. At Wedding reception all staf are brisk. If I had an accidnt, my boss would yell in anger to me. Actually, I have seen my co-worker who was yelled in anger by our boss my own eyes. So I always pay attention carefully when I worked at hotel.

Though it is hard, I feel like receiving a share of happiness. All bride and groom seem very very happy. They smile from first to last. Many people, their friends, co-worker and family bless them. Sometimes I was moved to tears when I heared massages from friends to them, or from them to their parents. Nowadays divorce is not rare, but couples which is joined in marriage don't come to end. I'll never forget their extraordinary smile!

Happy News

A few weeks ago, I received a mail from Miki who is my elementary school teacher. So,
she is Miki, I am Miki. We had a interests each other because of same name. Finally we had a good rerationship like a friend. However, she hadn't worked at my school long, because she was a representative teacher of a pregnant teacher. After she left my school, we kept in touch. We send letter or mail every time we had news or something special.

When I was a high school students, she informed me that she would get married. I was suprised, but I was happy. She invited me to wedding party, but I couldn't go because of tests. I gave up. She sent me a postcard printed her and her husband worn wedding dress and special suits. She was so beautiful, and he seemed to be gentle. It was first time to see him.
I promised her to meet at no distant date. But, we didn't meet.

After a few years, I got a mail from her that she got pregnant. Of course, she seemed to be happy. She had a daughter, so she became a mother.

After a year, at last, we met! She was with her daughter. She was really, really, really cute. We had a lunch and talked a lot.

It would be some time to receive mail from her after a few weeks. I knew she had already given birth to son. I didn't know about her pregnant. I was so suprised to hear that. It was so happy news.
When I talled to her about studying abroad, she said to me "Conglatulation!" I wanted to meet Miki before I go to America. But now is not suitable to meet. She is so busy in parenting. So I promised her to meet her and her children after I come back Jappan.

See you soon!!

My friends, Akiko and Momoko, left from Japan. I was going to see off at Kansai Airport. But actually, I didn't. Instead, I called Momoko. When I got up this morning, I regretted that I gave up to see off them. I thought about what was the least I could do. And I came up with calling. Akiko had already canceled the contract of her celler phone, but Momoko hadn't yet.

Firstlly, I talked with Momoko. Akiko wasn't here because she had gone to meet her friends. I knew Momoko decided to make her new way after she was embittered. I was supprised to hear that. She said to me " Because of studying abroad, I may lost the precious thing or person, but I want to come back Japan with valuable experiences and memories." I really hope she will make a lot of precious memory and spend wonderful time! I am looking forward to meet her in 10 monthes.

After a while, I could talk with Akiko. She seemed to be fine. She called me on the eve of her departure, so we couldn't talk a lot. But I was glad to speak with her even if it was very short. She promised me to send E-mail from America. I hope to recieve her mail as soon as possible.

Yesterday, Kenjirou and Hiroyuki go to America. I'm looking forward to receive their mail. I really want them to enjoy their American life.

From March to May, some of my friends will leave from Japan. Whenever they leave, I will miss them. But, I hope they will spend nice time at America, Canada, Australia etc... Also myself, I want to enjoy my American life.

For Studying Abroad

To receive VISA from the travel agency, I went to Umeda with Karei. I am still a stranger at Umeda. As I expected I got lost. I couldn't arrive at the place by myself which Karei piked up to meet. Ahaha...

At first we went to the office building to visit the travel agency. When I entered it, I felt I was not suitable.., because there were some kinds of brand shop, COACH, GUCCI etc. Anyway we visited the agency and got the VISA.

After that, we went to Yodobashi Camera to look over audio machine and PC. We want to prepare them before we go to America. But we went to the area of cafe though we didn't have a reason especially. There, we didn't decide soon which shop we would go, finally, we found the crape shop. It was very delicious. We stayed at the shop and talked about ourselves. I heard about her trip of Nagasaki. She showed me a lot of pictures which she took at Nagasaki. Some of them were rare, because she wore old noble dress. It suited her well.

In Yodobashi Camera, there were a lot of new model of PC. We didn't find what was good. Anyway we took back some brochures.

At evening, Sachiyo and I bought the birthday present for our friend. We will make a plan for party. We hope she will be suprised and glad.

Am I Really Kyoto Ctiizen?

Yesterday I took a saunter in Kyoto city with my friend. I had visited some temples and shrines in Kyoto when I was littele. It was almost for the first time to visit some for him. I was going to guide him, but I almost forgot how to get there or where they are...
Anyway we went to the Heian Shrine.

He was suprised at very big torii. We wanted to go into Shrine but we had to pay money so gave up. If we could go into, we would have been to the garden.

Next, though we tried to go to the Yasaka Shrine, we found another temple. It was the Chion Temple. There was the very big bell which I had wached in TV at New Year's Eve. How big it was!! In the main temple, a priest was reading the sutra. We sat on our heels and prayed. He was interested in the structure. How did the ancient people build? It was a mystery for us.
We also could see ume which had a lot of bud. We visited there a little earlier. Soon, we are coming the season of ohanami, a picnic under the cherry blossoms.

We went to the Maruyama Park. We met the parson who had a special hope. He hold a street performance. His performance was wounderful. He enchanted audience. He determined to live with street performance when he was 18 years old. Now he is 20 years old, so same for me!!
I was mooved. I wonder if I lived with my goal and make effort for my goal or dream...

After our Kyoto tour, we went to izakaya. I drunk syoutyuu. Actually I don't like syoutyuu, but I tried. He recommend me sweeter syoutyuu than any other. We talked a lot, maybe we had stayed at izakaya for 4 hours. On the way going to the station, we bought ice-cream. It was so delicious. As you already know, I love ice-cream so much!!

Before I go to America, I want to tour Kyoto again. I introduce my future foreigner friends Kyoto culture by showing picture.

Hard to Speak

I went to NOVA. I had not taken lessons for about one month. On February I didn't practice to speak English any more. I hesitated to go to NOVA. I didn't know why. Now I've changed my mind. From May I will go to America for studying. When I arrive there, I will have to take communication in English. During beeing in Japan, I should level up my spoken English skill.

Today I participated in VOICE. It is not lesson. In one room, NOVA students talk about something freely with teacher. There is the ticket in order students to enter the room.

I talked with 6 teachers. The subject are sports, health, girls talking, fashion and etiquette.

One teacher talked about snowbording. Yesterday he went to BIWAKO balley. He had never tried to snowbord. He seemed to master almost all of tequnique of snowbording. But his body ached. He also like to play tennis. I also like tennis.
Another talked about etiquette. In Japan, poking a finger at people is bad. But he didn't know. So he said he could learn it.
Another talked about kind of health. At first we warmed up by pierced earring. She had her ears pierced when she was 9 years old. We were suprised to hear that. But it's not special. Amost all af girls have thier ears pierced when they were 6,7 years old. In my situation, I had my ears pierced when I was 16 years old. I did it by myself by using safety pin.
The other talked about American dormitory after I ask for. He told me how to buy alcohole in case of not 21 years old. So in America, to drink under 21 year-old is illegal. It means he gave me cunning.

During any talking, I didn't talk a lot. I was not active. I was just listening. But I was so nourvous to speak English. I thought I had to come NOVA as many as possible.
