Thanks Yunwha

It has been about 4 years since then. Just I was happy to meet my best Korean friend and see her doing well.
After I finished my work, I directly went to Narita airport. My fright was 17:00, the problem was that I needed to take train 14:00 at Chiba station. It takes about 1 hour from Chiba to Narita airport. My office was in Shinagawa and it takes 1 hour also to Chiba station. That means it was tight time schedule. I should have used Haneda airport because it is totally easy to get from Shinagawa station.
Anyway I could be at Narita airport around 15:00. It was parfect.
After I checked in, during waiting at lobby, I was so excited to meet my frined. I called her before I got in the airplane to let her know my schedule. She was ready and I was ready for meeting!
As for Korea Airline, it was second time for me. I like it because we have our screen each other and we can watch movies, news and anime, and listen to music.
Also, the food is great. We can have delicious Korean food.
I was at Incheon airport at 19:15, so it took about 2 hours.
A few days ago, she gave me a message, and told me how to get on the bus to Lotte World Hotel stop, which was our meeting point. When I called her before getting on the bus, she was with her cousin whom apartment I would stay at during this trip. At this time, I didn’t expect at all they were already drunk. Lol
It took a hour to Lotte World Hotel stop. She showed up with her cousin by taxi and we went to restaurant to have small meal. My hope, moving moment, was consummated in the taxi. Lol
At this time, they were already drunk as I told before. However we had bear and soju with spicy Korean meal. We talked a lot but there were three Korean and me so guess what!? They used Korean a lot, means I couldn’t understandL And then we went to Karaoke, it was a crazy party, dance, drink again, and screaming. Lol
Basically Korean sounds angry to me but when they sing, it was not. It sounds like cute.
When we went her cousin’s apartment, it was around 3 am. From the beginning, I had burn much energy than usual.
Next day, I met other her cousin who would show us around. She was so nice just unfortunately, she couldn’t speak English. I should have studied Korean even if only slightly.
On this day, we went to 景福宮(kyon bo kun), sum ji kil, and Korean home-style dishes restaurant. It was a long day. First of all, Kyon bo kun was the royal palace in old time. Between Japan and Korea, there are many same historical staff but the difference is how colorful Korean’s are.
I could see various colorful wall printing, ceiling, roof, but the same was tiled roof. My frined, Yunwha interpreted her cousin’s statement into English. We were excited and had a lot of fun there.
Second of all, Sum ji kil was shopping place. We could see various food, sweets, accessories, clothes so anything from any category. There, I got several wonderful suvenior ( I think), some of them were from my friend recommendation. And after that, we went to restaurant with the common touch for dinner. I guess there were no Japanese and no body knows.
Not only this meal, every meal I had during this trip, were RED, which means made of kimuchi!!
So hot, spicy but as you know it was really great like we can’t stop eating. Lol
Within my memory, I didn’t have sweets there, so I didn’t gain weight even if I ate a lot.
While we were together, we talked about our memories and the thing after I left from Alabama.
I didn’t know exactly what happened to her, she just told me she really needed to come back Korea because of her family problem. She was about to finish her major and to find a job there as an accountant. I was so sorry for her.
Also she told me about the life in Alabama without me. It was totally girl’s talk. :p
The last day, I left there in the morning. On my way to airport, I felt so lonely but felt grateful for her kindness and treating well.
This would be a great memory for me and hope her too!

ARTISTS

Do you like painting, taking wonderful pics, so anything like artistic? In my case, I want but I'm really bad at these things.
Recently, around me, there are chances to exposure to art because I havetwo friends who are aggresive to art.
The guy who had participated in exhibition last week likes painting. Actually I hadn't seen his works until then, but it was like hard tounderstand what he wanted to show cuz I guess I don't have any art feeling. As you know, an artist shows their special idea on their works. However, it was a juicy character, so I wanted to show you. And combination of colour was really interesting!
Next, she used to be my coworker but after we quit , we were getting close. Now let me tell her works. She graduated from university of desgin calculumin U.S. She is also genius of art. A few month ago, she released "Kemuri kotoba", her first book. Don't you think it is WONDERFUL? We can find her book on book center or online. I guess that it is totally dificullt to make books. Her talent were estimated。
She gave me it, so I am so excited about knowing her world.
I am so proud of two guys.

The Importance of Scholarship

Nowadays, almost all of young people goes to university. For housholds, how hard to pay tuition! If their children go to private university, it costs 1 million per year.
That's why, there are scolarship system.
I am the one whose parents don't have much money because of big family, not good salary, something like house problems.
But my parents helped to pay tuitionon first year. After that I applyed for scholarship.
In Japn, we have to get great score on grade or test, which is most importantpoint.
Moreover there are the boarderline about our parents' income. They would judge if they need economic assistant seriously.
Fortunately (can I say this word?), I could take chancesof scholarship.
But, there is keen competition for the scholarship. Some of people can't get it so they need to chosescholarship which has an interest.

Fair Trade

Have you heard about Fair Trade before?
Actually, it rings a bell but I can't explain it.
I read the article of fair trade and discussed in English conversation class which I have been taking once a week since July.
First of all, what is fair trade? It means the the movement to try to make good use of their profit which was received from buying the developing countries agricultural products and folkcraft in fair price for ecology.

In Japan,it has not been familier, however, in Europe and North America. fair trade products are ubiquitous. In Britain, there are Britain's Fair Trade Foundation, also, London has been declared the bigesst fair trade city in the world. You will find fair trade products at churches, workplaces and cities.
As for Scotland, it seems to become the world's first fair trade country.
However, in the case of Japan, fair trade products are found just in special place like speciality shops, online or local co-operatices.
But under this poor condition, some of the groups are plugging at fair trade. If you are interested in, visit some homepage and read the article.

By the way, why aren't Japanese interested in fair trade so much?
There are some reasons which is possible.;

1. Japanese don't appreciate receiving benefits by the internationalization introvered because of characteristic.
2.We had not planted any colonies before unlike Britain or France.
3.We don't assist developing countries even though Japan is developed country, because depression are coming to a crisis.

In my case, the main point is that we are not sure the whereabouts of money which we paid for fair trade products. Because the company which runs fair trade might profit and commit an injustice. Certainly I understand we can support poor people by buying fair trade products even high price.

However, now, the world are changing for internationalization, therefore we need to think about the world peace.

Second Chance

On this weekend , I will try a Japanese-style roofed boat for the first time.
It goes around Tokyo Bay. It is getting popular recently.

And also, I will meet two foreigners. One of them is a teacher at junior high school maybe.
I guess he is from London. The other is from China who is an university student. Both of them gave me a message after they found my message on the board of Chiba International Center.
Thet want to learn Japanese. Also for me, it is gonna be a good chance to use Ernglish. Last time when I was a volunteer as a teacher for Chinse girl.
We really enjoyed talking, but at that time I was a member of UNIQLO, so we couldn't meet a lot. As you know, that is not good situation for person who really want to learn or practice Japanese. So she said to me she would like to find another teacher.
I was shocked but, I think I was ineligible to be her teacher. Sadly, we dissolved a partnership.
I really hope she is having fun to learn Japanese. So now, it is second chance. I want to help them as much as possible.

I don't know how they think about communication with Japanese. However, I love to keep contact with foreigners. I'll let you know what's going on next!!

While I didn't have work, about three months, I was so worried about if I can get new job or not.
But finally, I have started to work since the middle of June. What I want for job was to using English and getting experiences on trading. Until then, through job, there are not so many chances to use English but I can see a lot of English mail on my PC. Someone of our member have an relationship with foreigners through business. As for trading, I work at shipping company so I think it is okay. But I wanna get more skill of that.
Anyway this is my new start!!
